CVS Trip Breakdown and Tips

Ok, I wanted to breakdown my transaction that I did yesterday at CVS, so you can see how I only paid 70¢ out of pocket and received $12 back in ECBs.

Now take note, in order to make the most of your trips :

• Take advantage of all the programs they offer such as the Beauty Club. You receive $5 for every $50 you spend in beauty products. It's free to join.
• I go to CVS once a week, therefore the "Magic Coupon Machine" follows your shopping habits each time you make purchases. So depending on how frequent you shop, depends on how many coupons you receive.
• I buy at least 6-8 newspapers weekly, so I can have multiple coupons to make a purchase that requires you to buy more than one to trigger an ECB for your next trip.

-I used a $5 off $25 from being a member of their Beauty Club
-and used $4 off $20 from the CVS Coupon Machine
-and I used $17.50 in ECB I had from my last trip
So my total OOP was $0.70 plus I got back $12 for my next trip.

Walgreen's Deals Week 11/11

• The total amount of Register Rewards (RR’s) + Coupons cannot exceed the total number of items being purchased.
• You can buy multiple of different RR items in one transaction, however, don’t use the same RR to buy the same product again.
• RR’s have an expiration date of 2 weeks.
• Walgreens allows 3 coupons per item – manufacturer, Walgreen's IVC and in-ad/special book coupons.

On 9/16 Walgreens started the Balance Rewards Program!

They are not taking out the Register Rewards program, but they are starting a new points system. You can register HERE at any time for free. Coupons will have no effect on the points system and you will still earn the same amount of points.
